〈獨家〉賺錢有「樹」！400年九芎木　吸客消費

百年老樹，是許多庭園餐廳鎮店之寶，靠樹吸引顧客，最有名的是苗栗公館，一間簡餐店，因為矗立在門口的油桐花樹，每年4、5月，吸引上萬人消費，還有賣客家菜的餐廳，4百年的九芎樹，讓過路客驚豔的停下腳步，就連木雕之鄉三義，興建民宿，寧願改變工法，也不願破壞任何一棵樹，因為樹群圍繞，成了他們最大的招財特色。

古意盎然的庭園餐廳，被樹群包圍，其中這棵九芎樹，過路客瞥見後很驚豔，停下車，進來用餐。遊客：「一看到，哇！這樹怎麼這麼大！然後又有石頭。」

菜色口味，已經不是主要考量，觀賞百年老樹，才是願意掏錢吃飯的因素。餐廳業者：「真的就是整個樹瘤、它的樹型，就是夠老。」

店家笑咪咪介紹，這4百年九芎樹，可是它們的鎮店之寶，靠樹闖出名號的最佳代表，莫過於公館這家簡餐店，因為一棵種在店門口的油桐花樹，每年4、5月，吸引上萬人消費，開店靠樹，吸金有術，大湖台三線旁的露天咖啡廳，乾脆以樹為名。遊客：「本來很熱，上來有比較涼。」

標榜消暑，樹上喝咖啡，真的讓你坐在樹上面，木板挖個洞，讓樹木延伸到餐桌邊，營造出騰空的感覺，抓緊都市人追求幽靜度假風，三義這家villa風格的民宿，建造時，寧願改變建築工法，也不願破壞一樹一木。遊客：「最吸引我的是樹，對，天然環境。」

保留大部分隱身山林的原始氛圍，遊客絡繹不絕，原來，這就是另外一種的「搖錢樹」。
