「歐洲太空總署」今天發射三顆衛星，利用它們研究地球磁場。

這三顆衛星是利用俄羅斯火箭，從俄羅斯太空發射場發射的，它們將在太空運轉四年，收集資料，幫助科學家了解地球磁場。

地球磁場能保護地球上生物，使地球生物不會受太空輻射破壞，然而科學家擔心，地球磁場可能正逐漸減弱，對地球生物構成威脅。
