【王翊亘／台北報導】徐生明生前最掛念的美濃少棒，今天中午從美濃包車上台北，只為了給最照顧他們的徐總當面致謝。
 
徐生明少棒時期戰友，同時也是美濃少棒教練張發昌說：「當初發起美濃少棒十年計畫，是徐生明的構想，沒想到他卻開了我這麼大的玩笑，突然離世。」
 
徐生明為了推動美濃少棒計畫，不僅先自掏腰包50萬購買球具，更在鄉里間尋求企業贊助與學校配合，亦不求回報的擔任教練義工。
 
美濃少棒隊員楊鈞說，徐教練特別重視基本動作，更希望我們能兼顧學業，「他對我們做的一切，內心只有感謝。」
