糞便入藥做膠囊　有效治療腸道感染

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】加拿大有專家研究，將健康人體的糞便製成膠囊，用來治療人類腸道感染疾病。有病人服食藥物後，病情便不再復發，顯著好轉。

其實用糞便來醫治因困難腸梭菌(C. difficile)所引起的腸道感染疾病，過去一直有人研究，曾試著利用灌腸、或透過儀器經直腸、經口服糞便，但效果欠佳。而卡爾加里大學(University of Calgary)這次則是嘗試將糞便製成膠囊。

入藥的健康糞便多來自病人的親友，研究人員先將大便上的食物殘渣和細菌抽走，再進行消毒清潔，最後放到有三層膜的膠囊內，以免膠囊還沒進入腸道就已經融解，患者也不會聞到異味。一個療程需要吃24至34顆膠囊。

有病人表示，過去只要一吃或喝東西便要上廁所，但自從2年前吃了膠囊後就完全康復。當地27名病人最近也都接受治療，至今沒有復發。
