聯合國警察部隊短缺4千警官

聯合國首席警務顧問法勒(Stefan Feller)21日表示，聯合國世界警察部隊短缺了約4千名警官，而且也無法在2014年時達成女性警官比例達20%的目標。

聯合國警察所需人力約16萬7千人。

聯合國維持和平任務(Department of Peacekeeping Operations)首席政策顧問法勒說，必須徵召更多女性警官投入聯合國維和任務。

法勒指出，各國預算減少是導致聯合國警察部隊人力短缺的主要原因之一。

他說，聯合國計劃在2014年達成女性維和警官佔20%的目標，但到目前的比例只有10%，很難在僅剩的1年時間內，達成目標。
