【於慶中／綜合外電報導】英國一名女子因過敏導致濕疹問題，雙腳不能穿鞋，20多年來都無法工作，但最近一次進行體檢後，政府當局卻突然認定她能夠工作，決定取消對她的傷殘津貼。

45歲女子肯尼(Tracy Kenny)住在大曼徹斯特郡，她21歲在工廠工作時，雙手突然發炎變紅，其後更蔓延至雙腳。經檢查後，發現她有接觸性皮膚炎，是濕疹的一種，皮膚只要碰到橡膠、膠水或金屬等物質，便會變紅、發癢起鱗斑，最多只能穿鞋子10至15分鐘。肯尼在之後20多年，大部分時間都只能留在家中，外出用電動車代步，雙手要戴上特製的手套，才能碰刀、叉等金屬，20年來共領取約10萬英鎊(約台幣47.4萬元)的津貼。

但去年肯尼進行體檢後，政府當局卻判定她可以工作，決定撤銷津貼。肯尼對此感到不滿，認為官員不理解她深受過敏之苦，質問如何光著腳去面試或工作。
