辱華事件未平息 白宮：不能強制金摩秀停播

面對超過10萬要求道歉和停播「吉米金摩秀」(Jimmy Kimmel Show)的請願，美國白宮11日回應表示，無法強迫該節目停播。

「吉米金摩秀」是美國廣播公司(ABC)招牌節目，在去年10月16日的單元「兒童圓桌會議」中，提到中國大陸擁有美國1.3兆美元的債務要如何解決，其中一名兒童以「殺光中國人」做為解決方式。節目播出後，引起全美華人、甚至中國大陸人譁然，要求ABC與吉米金摩為這種辱華言論道歉。

對於這次風波，ABC和金摩本人都已經公開道歉，並停止兒童圓桌會議這個單元。

不過仍然有超過10萬5千人在白宮網站簽下請願書，要求道歉和停播節目。

對此，白宮在11日表示，ABC和金摩都已經就此事件道歉，而且ABC也在重播和網路上撤回這段內容。

白宮並且強調，美國憲法保障言論自由，即使言論內容涉及了冒犯。
