合法獵捕黑犀牛執照拍賣 35萬美元落槌

一張合法獵捕瀕臨絕種的黑犀牛執照，11日以35萬美元的價格拍賣成交。這項拍賣行動遭到自然生態和動物保護人士的強烈批判。

黑犀牛的牛角被指擁有神奇治療功效，近年被大量獵殺，在非洲的數量急劇下降。

美國達拉斯狩獵團體Dallas Safari Club，去年在非洲納米比亞取得捕獵執照，可以每年合法獵殺5隻瀕危的黑犀牛。

這張執照以35萬美元賣出，但買家並未被透露。

這個達拉斯狩獵團體宣稱，拍賣獵殺執照是為了保護黑犀牛，因為籌到的款項將捐到一個保育信託基金。

Dallas Safari Club執行長卡特(Ben Carter)說，取得這張獵捕執照的人將可以合法捕殺黑犀牛，但只限於年老、雄性以及不具生育能力的黑犀牛。

但動物保護人士則指出，所有瀕危的動物都應該受到保護。
