南蘇丹政府軍聲稱攻佔石油產地

南蘇丹政府發言人今天表示，經過4天激戰後，總統基爾（Salva Kiir）旗下政府軍已在產油的上尼羅省（Upper Nile）省會馬拉卡擊敗效忠前副總統馬查爾（Riek Machar）的叛軍。

發言人阿奎爾（Philip Aguer）在南蘇丹首都朱巴（Juba）告訴路透社：「政府軍百分之百控制馬拉卡（Malakal），正在追逐政變叛軍。」阿奎爾昨天表示，叛軍控制一半馬拉卡。

法新社稍早報導，南蘇丹政府軍和叛軍今天為爭取重大石油城鎮馬拉卡而交戰。在此同時，區域內各強國正開會，期能調停中止南蘇丹日益嚴重的內戰。

目擊者通報，馬拉卡發生激烈交戰，政府軍和叛軍都堅稱，經數日街頭戰鬥後，現已主控戰局。

區域內各國領袖正在肯亞首都奈洛比（Nairobi）集會，再次嘗試擬訂和平計畫，以調停中止近2週來的南蘇丹內戰。這場內戰造成了數千人喪生，同時由於種族暴力猖獗，而致數萬人爭取聯合國保護。
