NBA／林書豪得分開張　半場落後灰熊8分

首節落後的灰熊，靠著積極拚搶進攻籃板，上半場已有51次出手，反觀火箭第2節命中率、出手機會都下滑，半場結束灰熊以53比45領先火箭。

首節沒有分數進帳的林書豪，第2節開打不久拉桿上籃，得分終於開張，不過，林書豪這節發生個人第3次失誤。

火箭第2節前半段得分燒熄火，讓灰熊逮到機會，在Mike Miller、Zach Randolph帶領下，打出9比0小高潮，以35比33反超。

灰熊雖然命中率不如火箭，但在James Johnson的防守帶動下，增加出手次數，Johnson上半場砍下11分3籃板3抄截，完全帶起灰熊氣勢。

首節吞下2犯的Dwight Howard，第2節受制於對方防守難以施展，還追加第3犯，火箭一度落後達9分，上半結束前，Terrence Jones再度挺身而出，加上James Harden利用罰球搶分，但仍落後灰熊8分距離。
