UPS FedEx作業耽誤 很多美國人聖誕禮物會遲到

因為兩大快遞業者輸運作業耽誤，很多美國人今年恐怕無法在聖誕節前，收到禮物。除了天氣因素之外，今年購物季比較短，貨物過度集中，導致系統忙不過來，也有關係，美國人也有大多數人的通病，總是喜歡拖到最後一刻才去購買以及交運禮物。

優比速與聯邦快遞都沒有透露，有多少包裹被延誤，只說比例不高。UPS說，它們在美國東岸的包裹遞送作業中斷，聯邦快遞與亞馬遜都向顧客道歉。亞馬遜還向被影響到的顧客，提供二十美元購物折扣。

根據統計，感恩節到聖誕節這段期間，聯邦快遞大概要遞送兩億七千五百萬件包裹，隨著網購一族的壯大，快遞量也逐年增長，今年，從十一月1號到十二月15號，美國人在網路上的消費金額，比去年同期增加了百分之9，金額達到378億美元。

全美最大零售業組織估計，今年年底購物季，美國零售業績將成長將近百分之4，突破六千億美元。
