新秀Victor Oladipo演出12分、11籃板的雙十表現，同為菜鳥的Manny Harris前三節毫無建樹，但第四節進帳9分，15日的熱身賽兩人協助奧蘭多魔術以102比94扳倒小牛。

魔術遍地開花，共有六名球員得分達雙位數，Maurice Harkless斬獲16分，E'Twaun Moore和Tobias Harris分別贊助13分及12分， Solomon Jones與Kris Joseph各挹注11分。

小牛則有「德國坦克」Dirk Nowitzki轟下24分，Monta Ellis攻得16分，曾於首節落後20分之多，但打完前三節後反倒以73比72取得1分領先。

小牛新人Gal Mekel是陣中唯一於決勝節還留在場上的先發球員。

魔術末節的17投10中，投籃命中率飆破5成、高達59％。Manny Harris砍進一記三分球，另外6分全來自罰球，此役他的罰球命中率百分百！
