提摩申科即將獲釋 歐盟：有信心

負責歐盟擴大事務的執行委員福勒(Stefan Fule)今天(15日)表示，他對於烏克蘭前總理提摩申科(Yulia Tymoshenko)，可望在未來幾週重獲自由，充滿信心。

福勒在新聞簡報會上說：「提摩申科即將獲釋，並將到德國治療，此事已為期不遠。」他接著表示：「(提摩申科)不會在下週獲釋，但將會在維爾紐斯(Vilnius)峰會前重獲自由。」

第四屆「東部夥伴關係」(Eastern Partnership)峰會，11月28日到29日，將於立陶宛首都維爾紐斯(Vilnius)召開，烏克蘭親歐或是親俄，將是本屆峰會最大焦點。

福勒說，歐盟希望透過本屆「東部夥伴關係」峰會，增強與6個東歐國家的關係，其中包括烏克蘭。

提摩申科持續遭現任總統亞努科維奇(Viktor Yanukovych)政府關押，影響烏克蘭與歐盟的關係。歐盟要求基輔當局捍衛基本人權和民主原則，早日釋放提摩申科，以改善雙方貿易及政治關係。

提摩申科因身體嚴重不適，目前在她被關押的哈爾科夫(Kharkiv)監獄外，接受治療，這也是歐盟與烏克蘭政府簽署聯合協議後，提摩申科獲得的人道援助。哈爾科夫位於烏國東部。
