阿爾卑斯雨燕 可以連飛兩百天不休息

瑞士的鳥類專家發現，阿爾卑斯山的雨燕可以連續飛行兩百天不降落，牠們靠空氣中的浮游生物果腹，就連睡覺的時候都在飛。

阿爾卑斯雨燕每年會到非洲過冬，春天再回到瑞士的棲息地，瑞士禽鳥研究院與伯恩大學應用科學團隊，2011年在燕群南遷以前，幫六隻雨燕，裝上電子追蹤器，以間隔四分鐘的頻率，紀錄雨燕的方位以及身體姿勢的改變，等雨燕回到瑞士之後，研究人員下載追蹤資料發現，牠們連續飛行了將近七個月，研究人員也不排除雨燕在每四分鐘紀錄一次的間隔中降落過，就算沒有，科學家也不會驚訝，雨燕一生當中大部分時間都在飛行，是早就知道的事。

多數禽鳥都會在長途遷徙或是獵食之後，降落休息，因為飛行會消耗很大的能量。
